In my first 3 Legend Lost Sector runs I earned 2 exotic arms. I noticed that when I opened the chest it said "Platinum Reward" (for killing all the Champions) Now, I've run it 5 more times and not received another exotic. But I also noticed it no longer says "Platinum Reward" when I open the chest.
