My Intellichlor IC40 indicated red flow light (i.e. no flow) even when pump was running and water was coming out of the returns. The salt level lights were flashing red and green (see video). My diagnosis was that the flow indicator was bad, causing the 4 year old cell to stop generating chlorine (a safety measure for when the pump is off).My pool guy is stumped, his Pentair reps are stumped, lets see if any of you have come across this. Once filter is clean turn pump back on and see if all the lights are green on the intellichlor. If flow light is still on you will need to replace the flow switch as they do go bad sometimes.
