Dos2 lone wolf builds

Its my first playthrough and I decided to go for lone wolf with 2 characters. One of them is a summoner/pyromancer, and the other is a terramancer (fextralife build) but Im having this major problem - I cant really utilize the terramancer fully because I have no way of quickly stripping down physical armor, so knockdown is never gonna work on earthquake..

The hydro guy will suck. Period. Even on a party build they run out of spells before you run out of enemies. Sure, most of the hydro damage spells are individually decent, but there's too few, and there's none of the truly powerful spells that all the other mage classes enjoy, especially in terms of source spells.Depends on the challenge you're after. Lone Wolf just isn't a challenge, so if you're looking for that, go full party. Each person is stronger, so if you max damage you hit like freaking trucks. Really fun to watch enemy health bars vaporise! Lonewolf can beat honor mode relatively easily even with suboptimal builds.
